That's remained the case up until a conversation between Tony Hawk, Crash Bandicoot, and Nintendo took place on Twitter, hinting at the impending announcement of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater coming to more consoles sooner than many expected. After 21 years, the first two games that started the legendary series were remade for last-gen consoles, but current-gen consoles, including the Nintendo Switch, were left out of the half-pipe. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 was released last September and was well-received by critics and fans of the franchise. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 was one of 2020's biggest titles releasing for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and now the popular skateboard simulator is coming to the Nintendo Switch in the near future. The hit remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 is making its way to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch following a request from Tony Hawk himself.
